I have been strolling Michigan Avenue today, working and doing research for Good Life Junkie..And what I have seen is atrocious. Women dressed in hundreds and sometimes thousands of clothing, which doesn't fit, needs ironed, doesn't match, etc! If you want to know if your butt looks big in an outfit, ask your mirror, not your friend! If our friends told us the truth, we would stop calling them friends! Ill fitting clothes draw attention to your flaws. The first thing that will be noticed is the exact body part you wish to hide. Come on ladies, check yourself out every time you leave the house!!

Looking Good at Vidal Sassoon

Vidal Sassoon has long been known for it's innovative cuts and styles. And it's freebies? Not so much. But I recently had a free blow dry at Vidal Sassoon in Water Tower Place. Many upscale salons have intensive training programs for their stylists and colorists. As such, on certain days of the week, they need "models" as a training tool. So, the next time you are ready for a consultation, new do, or just want to be pampered, call your favorite salon and ask about becoming a model. You may just get part or all of the service for free..
If you are happy with your service, make sure to tip your stylist based on the normal fee. After all, this may be a person you would like to return to...it's not a good idea to anger a person with scissors or bleach!
